This is a few solutions to what usually works when uploading takes forever.

1. Clear your temporary internet files.
In IE: tools-> delete browsing history-> delete all.
in FF: Tools-> clear private data
in Opera: Tools-> Delete private data


2. Try a different browser.
If you're using IE, try Firefox, and Vice versa. Skem9 tends to work better in Firefox. You can get it at http://mozilla.com


3. Wait a while.
If theres a lot of traffic, then it puts pressure on the server, and slows it down.


4. "Let Skem9 host the images"
It's glitchy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And it does take a while.

OK...I CANT SEEM TO GET ANY LAYOUTS SUBMITTED...I AM DOING NOTHING DIFFERENT FROM BEFORE... I AM USING FF...I KEEP GETTING ERROR MSGS ABOUT HOSTING IMAGES THRU PB AND I AM... Did you notice Shayne's News Flash on your account page?

Are your layout images missing?
Skem9 has offered members the ability to let Skem9 host their images when submitting a layout. Currently this is not working. John has been working with Photobucket to try and correct this issue, however he is out of town. When submitting a layout please do NOT tick the box to let Skem9 host your images. Use your own Photobucket account. If you already have layouts submitted, you can replace Skem9 urls with your own and this will correct the problem. This will however change your layout code itself. We are so sorry for any inconvenience. Watch for more posts to see when this issue has been corrected.

I have tried everything that you said but I still can't post my layout. I'm using Firefox. I keep getting the same error codes:

* Sorry, but we couldnt find your preview image on our system.

I posted my preview image on photobucket and I can see it on your page. When I tick the box that says "Host images on Skem9" it goes through the process of uploading. Then it says your code has been updated but it disappears. I used the Skem9 layout generator to create my code.

That error only appears when you don't put in the code for the layout.

Try uploading from your computer, does that work?

What kind of layout? Refer to the Generators link at the top of the page and choose which one you're wanting.

Ok, hopefully this hasn't been asked before. But I just attempted to try and submit my 1st Default Layout. It kept giving me this Error...
