Meh. I had a bunch of codes here that worked... for a while. But I'm tired of keeping track of MySpace's changes. It isn't amusing anymore.

I'm sure you did.It's really typical for people to complain about new things, but don't you think they should have made it optional.. Or at least put it in the same class name?That part just seems kinda poorly thought out.The codes I have here were tested on a blank profile, so they might conflict with the crappy coding I see on so many layouts. p.s. I have no troubles with the new look of MySpace, but there will always be someone that has a problem with change and moving forward. That is a given. It's just sad that I hear the most rumbling from the youngsters on my page. Oh well.... so be it.

Anyways, the selector for the links is .clearfix table td div li a if you wanted to style them. I tried to target the links in the nav and the links in the sub-nav separately but I couldn't get it - they have the same selector. >_<

I'm hoping that sooner or later they'll add a class to it.
Upon looking at the stylesheet you can see things like .hsm, .hsmButton, and .hsmButtonRight, and they all have styles that match the navbar..

~JUST NOTICED IT. DOESN'T REALLY MATTER TO ME WHAT THE NAV BAR LOOKS LIKE. I'LL BE MAD WHEN THEY TAKE AWAY THE THE CHOICE TO USE THE CLASSIC HOME PAGE. AS LONG AS THEY LEAVE THAT ALONE I WILL BE O.K. (I HOPE....LOL!).~

I have tried all of these codes and the only that i can get to work -- is the one that takes out the background --- BUT -- i would like to hide it completely or move it under my div if that is at all possible ---

Can anyone help with that?

hello brandon,
here is my problem, i made a personal layout for a friend.
(his page is just orange). when i went to put the layout i made for him on his page the only thing that came through was the nb and his page is still orange. and get this there is no code to take off the orange layout that is on there. i know how to make layouts but i have not figured out how to recode them yet.

(What about editing the colors of the menus and drop-downs when you hover over certain menus? I hate editing those. VF has those stupid drop-down menus >_<)

I don't mind the navbar on my page so much as it's just annoying because I have a skinny or tiny profile and it's all off-center... I tried the moving it code but I didn't notice anything different other than the text just disappeared.

I know absolutely nothing about codes. I always come here for the best layouts and thank you all for the hard work you put into these beautiful layouts. The new myspace layout did not affect my own profile page much - nothing I can't live with, but my group page is a mess. I have a huge white box that is covering up almost the entire layout. That is not attractive at all. :(

I am using the Celestial layout......I love it and have had lots of compliments on it but some of the buttons are missing.......the Contact module is there but there are no buttons such as the Add as friend, email ect. I have no idea how to fix this.....I dont know anything about the codes and such. Can anyone help me with this???
