A teen comedy which follows two best friends through their final days of high school as they move on to separate colleges. With the prospect of never seeing each other again they look to make it a memorable Summer.
I didn't have high hopes for Superbad. With the tradition of teen comedies, they tend to follow the same formula of jokes and party scenes. Writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg had been working on the script since they were 13 years old, perhaps that dedication to a good script is what made Superbad a comedy hit. Instead of giving you pretty faces you've seen before they give you virtual unknowns with great on screen chemistry. Each scene is comedic gold, most of which include the now classic character McLovin. Rent it and watch it over and over again, cause comedies like these come once in a blue moon now of days.
