How to turn a portion of a black and white image, to color :]
1) Firstly, you need a black and white image and you NEED to make sure it is RGB mode or this tut wont work. To do this, Image > Mode > RGB

I'm going to be using this image:

(The following images seem to be bigger, i zoomed so i could see what in the world i was doing)

2) Now. you need to select the wings using the Hand Drawn Region Hot key (f)

It should now look like this:

2)Now, Go to Layer > Colors > Colorize

Coloring it should look like this:

And that's all there is to it. Good luck :]
