Black Bean Burgers

One of my girlfriends uses this recipe and she loves the burgers.
This makes about 4 patties.
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and mashed
1/3 cup whole corn
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup salsa (thick and chunky works good)
1 clove garlic, chopped finely
2 tablespoons parsley
pinch of pepper
pinch of salt
1/2 cup bread crumbs, you can use seasoned or plain
2 egg whites
1. Mash beans and combine all ingredients together. Mix well
2. Form into patties
3. Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray
4. Heat over medium heat for about 6 minutes, or until lightly browned
5. Serve on buns and whatever topping you would like to use
