Stuffed Party Mushrooms

1 lb med-sized fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 garlic clove, minced

Heat oven to 350. Brush or wipe mushrooms w/damp cloth.
Remove stems from mushrooms. Set caps aside. Chop mushroom stems. In medium bowl, combine chopped stems and rest of ingredients. Press mixture firmly into caps, mounding on top.
Place on an ungreased 13x9" pan. Bake at 350 for 18-23 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

Serve warm. 35-40 appetizers.
