Born in Kentucky, adopted. My family moved to Naples,Florida when I was 9yrs.I grew up in the best of times, when kids played,army, baseball,hide n seek,kick the can, rode bikes or walked to get to where they wanted to go. I don't play head games, life is too short for that. I have a great sense of humor, which gets me into trouble from time to time. I love to laugh and try not to take this cruel world so seriously. One tends to get a little up tight when they take things too seriously. Honesty & Communication are the keys to a successful relationship. I would like to meet people who values friendship. One who respects a person for who they are. There's plenty of beauty out there waiting to enjoy. And I'll pass on "Buff Body=Shallow Mind" I'm not interested in what someone has, physically & material wise. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, & then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. I feel my life has been a battlefield. I have walked through unscathed in which I find strength. As I reach each mountain peak, I turn and shake my fist in victory, proud that I can overcome any situation. My motto, I learned a long time ago that life is full of choices. We choose to love and we choose to hate. We choose to be happy or we choose to be miserable. Everything that happens in life is a result of a choice someone, including ourselves, has made. If someone else makes a choice that affects me, I get to choose how I react. What it all comes down to, for me anyway, is that one bad event during the day should not set the stage for your entire day or the rest of your life. We have choices to make and rather than choosing to let it ruin our day we should choose to deal with it and not dwell on it. What a miserable life we would have if we let every negative thing that happens set the tone for our lives. Change is a very big part of life and we need to be able to deal with it and embrace it. Not get caught up in all the negative. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, WOW! What a ride!
