Ohhh yea. I hate Parvo! I saw so many little ones go to that damn disease :"( They're so young and their immune systems are so defenseless, it's awful. Aww yea I've been chewed on by a million puppies and slapped by God knows however many cats haha! The time I was really bit it was by a dalmation. Which I find out, are not so very friendly dogs...their breed is actually known for having bad behavior! I had no idea lol. I was once bit on the cheek by a cat lol. His name was Bubba and he was the sweetest..yea I know you're thinking then why did he bite??? Lol. He hated other cats with a passion but he loved to be cradled on your shoulder. So one day I was holding him and he was hanging on my shoulder and I happened to walk by some cat cages...filled with cats...lol...and I was the closest thing..He bit the hell out of my cheek, but I wasn't hurt, no marks or anything lol. It was really just flippin hilarious! Hahahaaa!

Good for you! Yeah It's great working at an animal shelter :) I think you'd really enjoy it lol. I sure did! Lol It got hard sometimes when you get attached to certain ones, and they have to go to another shelter or a new home ya know. Shoot I wanted to take them all home!!!! Lol. I think the shelter in my town might be closing soon :( Or they might be moving, not sure. That's great they're opening one in your town! You should go volunteer or get a job at it! Have you ever checked with working with a pitbull rescue? You'd do awesome at one! You're already doing it now! Lol. The one near my town is called Bad Rap. They rescue pitbulls that have been treated bad etc and find them new homes and all. I know what you mean. I get a certain feeling from animals; It's like a vibe of their true nature?? Lol. It sounds weird to other people, but makes complete sense to me! And it must be right because I've only been bitten once, being around animals for over 9 years, and it wasn't even a puncture bite really. I just got bruised is all ;) lol

Omgoodness! I would be so upset if I saw something like that happen! I agree wholeheartedly. I used to work at an animal shelter in my town, and I ran into a bunch of pitbulls while I was there. Almost every single one of them was super nice, but they had a bad owner so they were in a bad situation. It's really unfair :). I never met a pitbull that I couldn't get along with eventually lol. Some took coaxing, sure. Lol. Most of the mean dogs I came across were either Rotts or German Shepherds lol, but people use them as guard dogs cuz of their size. Still love the breeds though. Lol. I'm a sucker for animals...can ya tell??? Lol. I'm glad the dog is doing well ;) Yaay! Lol
